Dry Mouth can have several causes
We all need saliva to moisten and cleanse our mouths and digest food in addition, saliva also prevents infection by controlling bacteria and fungi in the mouth.
If we don't produce enough saliva, our mouth gets dry and uncomfortable and there are many causes and treatments for dry mouth.
Once possible cause for having dry mouth is when the glands in the mouth that make saliva are not working properly.
Another cause can be medication. Medications prescribed for conditions such as high blood pressure, anxiety, depression, allergies, weight loss,
and many others can contribute to dry mouth.
Dry mouth (Xerostomia) is common in many adults and may make it hard to eat, swallow, taste, and speak and most often just a temporary condition, but
